Accessibility Statement of Chocolate Studio FERI

This is the accessibility statement of Chocolate Studio FERI for the website www.feri-chocolates.de. We want everyone to be able to use our website effectively. To achieve this, we are continuously improving our digital offerings.

Legal Basis

The relevant accessibility requirements arise from the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), particularly from § 3 BFSG and § 14 BFSG. These requirements are specified by the ordinance issued for the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSGV). In this case, the technical measures are based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Services

This website is an online shop for the sale of goods. Goods here refer to physical items. Products are presented to you here, which can be added to an electronic shopping cart and then obligatorily ordered and paid for.

Measures

Chocolate Studio FERI strives to make its website accessible in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 and the national legislation based on it.
Chocolate Studio FERI is taking the following measures to ensure the accessibility of the website:
  • Adherence to relevant accessibility standards
  • Introduction of an accessibility statement
  • Supporting users in contacting us to report accessibility issues
We are actively working to address accessibility gaps as part of our continuous commitment to accessibility.

Status of conformity with requirements and non-accessible content

Chocolate Studio FERI partially meets the requirements of the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard. Identified areas for improvement include:
  • Inconsistent heading hierarchy
  • Missing or insufficient alternative text for images
  • Form fields must be described with labels
  • Insufficiently responsive design
  • Keyboard navigation can be partially restricted
  • Contrast ratios may vary in some areas
Reasons: We are currently deliberately deviating from some accessibility requirements because their continuous monitoring and implementation ties up significant resources. Technical hurdles or disproportionate costs can make implementation difficult or impossible in certain cases. In such situations, we examine whether alternative, more accessible solutions are possible in the medium term.
