Here's what to expect

    We will start with a delicious welcome drink for all the children.

    Each child works with two different types of couverture – milk and white chocolate.

    Where does cocoa come from? We tell the story of its journey from bean to bar in a way that is easy for children to understand.

    Dried fruits, colorful chocolate lentils, marshmallows, gummy bears – there are no limits to your creativity.

  • Own creations

    Each child makes their own chocolate bars or chocolate lollipops and takes them home, provided they aren't nibbled up beforehand.

    To make the artworks look like real presents, every child decorates their own box.

Frequently asked questions

How many children?

Just tell us the approximate number of children in your enquiry – we'll send you a tailored quote. It's best to come and see the workshop room in person beforehand.

What age is it for?

For children aged 6 to 12.

What happens at the party?

We start with a welcome drink and explain, in a child-friendly way, how cocoa beans become chocolate. Then each child makes their own chocolate bars or chocolate lollipops with milk and white couverture and lots of toppings, and finally decorates their own packaging. 90 minutes in total.

Can parents stay?

Yes, of course. But you can also go shopping nearby or have a coffee – we'll take care of the children.

Can we bring a cake?

Yes, you're welcome to bring a cake. There are plenty of sweets here anyway, though.

Can we see the room beforehand?

Of course – just drop by during our opening hours, Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm.

Is there a chocolate factory in Munich for children's birthday parties?

We don't offer factory tours – with us, the children make their chocolate themselves. And the studio is all yours for the party.

Can you cater for allergies and vegan diets?

Yes. If we know in advance, we adapt the ingredients to the participants – vegan is possible too. A short note when booking or by email is all we need.

How do I get to you, and is there parking?

The studio is at Marktstraße 15 in Munich-Schwabing, a few minutes' walk from Münchner Freiheit, served by the U3 and U6 underground lines as well as trams and buses – the easiest way to get here. Nearby there is a paid public car park with a barrier; on-street parking with a ticket is possible, but you need a bit of luck.

What is your cancellation policy?

We know that plans can change. That is why we offer a fair and transparent solution:

Cancellation more than 7 days (168 hours) before the workshop
If you cancel more than 7 days before your booked date, we will refund the full workshop fee.

Cancellation within 7 days of the workshop
If you cancel within 7 days of the workshop, we will issue a voucher for the amount of the workshop fee.
The voucher can be redeemed against our entire range of products and workshops and is freely transferable.

No-show
If you do not attend without cancelling in advance, the claim to a refund or voucher expires.
