Storage
Chocolate isn't just a treat, it's an adventure for the senses! To unlock the full potential of your chocolate experiences, proper storage is crucial. Let's take on the challenge and ensure your chocolate is always at its best!
Here are some tips for storing your chocolate optimally:
- Temperature is everything: Store your chocolate in a cool, dry place at 15-20°C. Avoid extreme temperatures, which can ruin the texture and taste.
- Avoid moisture: Chocolate is an enemy of moisture! Store it in an airtight container to protect it from unwanted dampness.
- Keep them away from strong odors: Chocolate has the ability to absorb aromas. Therefore, keep it away from strong-smelling foods to preserve its pure flavor.
- No refrigerators: The refrigerator is not a friend of chocolate! The cold can change its texture and impair its aroma. If you must store it there, let it come to room temperature first.
- Protect them from light: UV rays can damage chocolate. Store it in a dark, light-protected container to preserve its quality.
Exception: Ice cream confections should be stored in the refrigerator.
